Congratulations to Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, an iconic estate in Tuscany, Italy, which has earned the award of "Best Hotel in the World" by Travel + Leisure's 27th annual World's Best Awards.

The 800-year-old Tuscan estate with 4,000+ acres, a Brunello di Montalcino winery, and one of Europe´s finest golf courses is located within the UNESCO-listed Val d'Orcia Natural Park, right in the heart of the Brunello di Montalcino wine-making region. It is one of the oldest and best-preserved estates in Tuscany and infused with breathtaking natural beauty.

The onsite golf course, Club at Castiglion del Bosco, is stunning as well and reserved exclusively for Members and Resident Guests of the Rosewood resort. This may be rather common for Americans, but it is not for most Europeans. In fact, it is Italy’s only private golf club!

The golf course is recognized as one of the finest in all of Europe. Besides, it is the only Continental European design by Champion golfer Tom Weiskopf. His Tuscan masterpiece is exquisitely blended into the soft curves and contours of the estate’s rolling hills and valleys with panoramic views across Val d’Orcia.

The estate fosters an appreciation of the deeply rooted Tuscan traditions of art, cuisine, wine-making, and craftsmanship. You will get immersed into the world of Tuscan wine with vineyards located within the estate and along the coast. The on-site winery hosts an array of wine-tastings and wine-tasting seminars! You can also hunt for precious white and black truffles in this private truffle land followed by a special tasting with Brunello di Montalcino wines.

In addition, I suggest you visit some of Tuscany’s most iconic locations in this protected Tuscan region which is so famous for its stunning landscapes, cultural heritage, and excellent red wines. You will definitely love exploring these enchanting traditional Tuscan villages. Alternatively, you can check out the hot springs in the area or enjoy a picnic in the vineyards, all memorable experiences.

You may think that this epic experience does come with a huge price tag! Well, it is certainly pricey in high season and for high-demand dates. But first of all, price is only an issue in the absence of value and secondly, I have seen a Junior Suite offered for as low as $ 700.00 a night, a priceless experience.

For those of you who are not that familiar with Tuscany, Castiglion Del Bosco is about a 2-hour drive south of Florence, 3 hours north of Rome, and close to some of Tuscany´s renowned UNESCO Heritage sites and golf courses.

If you have not downloaded my FREE e-brochure on the golf & lifestyle experience in Tuscany, I encourage you to do so. As I said, it´s FREE and an updated version has just been uploaded.
